Watch The Killing So1E13 - Orpheus is an important connection to the case as the detectives connect new evidence to Rosie and her murder. While reflecting on the past, Mitch and Stan look long and hard at what the future will hold for them.
The ending of Episode 12 was very suspenseful. The three scenes pointing to Darren Richmond came together nicely...heart pounding! Now that Richmond's secret has been revealed, it's easy to imagine that Jamie would've found out about it and that he would do anything to get Richmond into the mayor's office, including committing murder. But what if the killer is really Gwen? I know that she and Richmond were supposed to have been together the night Rosie was killed, but maybe we've been misled! (Truthfully, I don't remember the conversation they had that supposedly gives Richmond the alibi, because I wasn't giving it my full attention). Toward the end of Episode 12, Gwen's expression was really intense when Richmond was talking about his wife. Rosie looked like his wife. Maybe he was obsessed with her and Gwen had to remove her competition. On the other hand, politicians seem to think that they can get away with anything these days, so for me, the ending of Episode 12 just may turn out to be more thrilling than the actual ending just by the way it played out.
